How does mediumship actually work?​
Mediumship is simply the ability to sense and connect with the presence of loved ones who have passed. It is not dramatic or mysterious. It is a quiet tuning in, similar to paying attention to a feeling or a memory that rises gently to the surface. Mediums use their sensitivity and awareness to notice these subtle impressions and to listen with care.​​
​Messages often come through as thoughts, feelings, or images that carry a familiar sense of the person in Spirit. The medium’s role is to describe what they are receiving in a clear and grounded way so you can recognize the connection and feel supported in the process.​
At its heart, mediumship is about connection and reassurance. It offers a way to feel closer to the people who matter most and to receive the kind of validation that reminds you your loved ones are always with you.​
What is evidential mediumship?

Evidential mediumship is a process where the medium connects with loved ones in spirit and bring through specific evidence, such as personality traits, physical characteristics, or shared memories, to validate that it is truly them. The goal is to provide comfort, healing, and assurance that love continues beyond the physical world.

How should I prepare for a reading?
The best preparation is to come with an open heart and mind. You may wish to think of loved ones beforehand, but you do not need to call them in. Spirit decides who steps forward, and they often know exactly what you need most in the moment.

Who will come through in my session?
Juliet cannot guarantee a specific person, but in her experience, the loved ones with the strongest need to connect are usually the ones who step forward. Sometimes the person you hope to hear from comes through directly, and other times another loved one will bring a message of healing first.

What if I do not recognize the evidence?
This happens occasionally, and it does not mean your loved one is not there. Sometimes the evidence makes sense later, or you may confirm details with family. Please stay open and trust the process, as spirit often brings through information in unique ways.

Can I ask questions during the reading?
You are welcome to ask questions, but it's usually ask that they be saved until the end. This helps keep the reading clear and allows Juliet to bring through the strongest evidential details without being influenced by anything you might share in your questions.

If something feels unclear during the session, please ask, but holding most questions until the end helps keep the connection as pure and validating as possible.
​Will my session be recorded?
A session can be recorded through Zoom so you can revisit the reading whenever you’d like. After the appointment, Juliet provides a link to download the video, audio, and transcript for your personal use. If you prefer not to have the session recorded, simply let Juliet know at the beginning of the reading.

​Do I have to use Zoom?
Most clients prefer Zoom, but phone sessions work just as well. You are welcome to choose whichever feels more comfortable for you. If you would like a phone reading, you can reach out through the contact page to schedule one.

​​Do you offer in person readings?
Most sessions are held online, but if you live in the Raleigh North Carolina area, you are welcome to reach out. Juliet may be able to offer an in person reading, and she happy to talk with you about it.
